The candidate drafts and reviews documents and coordinates closing logistics for transactions. Reviews and drafts lease and license documents. Participates in/assists with managing due diligence document reviews. Assists with real estate purchases, sales, leasing, and related transactions. Orders and reviews title/survey documents and environmental reports, analysis of title and survey issues and prepares title and survey objection letters, reviews title for accuracy and works to resolve and address any possible issues to obtain an appropriate resolution. Determines whether transfer taxes apply and, if so, obtains necessary forms. Participates in and coordinates closings. Records documents, and coordinates post-closing distributions and other post-closing work. Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet department goals, objectives and needs. Documenting processes, as well as maintaining hard copy files and electronic records.
