The firm provides a supportive and innovative work environment where legal professionals can thrive while making a meaningful impact for employees facing workplace injustice.

Duties:

  • Manage a litigation caseload from intake through trial or settlement, including drafting pleadings, handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, and attending court proceedings.
  • Work closely with pre-litigation intake staff to assess potential cases and provide strategic direction on case selection.
  • Participate in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and court appearances, primarily remotely, but occasionally in person as needed.
  • Engage with clients directly, offering clear and compassionate guidance throughout the legal process.
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth and innovation efforts, whether through legal strategy, process improvement, or business development.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in employment litigation, preferably on the plaintiff’s side.
  • Strong litigation and trial preparation skills, with experience in both federal and state courts.
  • Ability to handle a caseload with autonomy, meeting deadlines, and proactively managing cases.
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first environment, with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A passion for advocating for workers and fighting employment discrimination.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (New Jersey admission is a plus).

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills, including drafting pleadings and managing discovery.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in working remotely with a strong command of digital tools for legal work.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Client-focused with a commitment to advocating for employee rights.

Benefits:

  • Flexible, remote-first work environment with occasional in-person requirements.
  • Support for professional growth and innovation within a forward-thinking firm.
  • Opportunities to contribute to firm strategy, case selection, and business development.
