Duties

• Manage master calendar and individual hearings at Immigration Court.
• Oversee a comprehensive caseload involving family petitions, waivers, SIJS, and removal defense.
• Draft persuasive motions and litigation briefs for EOIR and federal Circuit Courts.
• Conduct client preparation sessions in Spanish and English.
• Collaborate strategically with the Principal Attorney on legal arguments.
• Work with the paralegal team on documentation and workflow navigation.

Requirements

• Active member in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar.
• 2 to 3 years of immigration law practice experience.
• Full professional fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience with legal practice management software and e-filing portals preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the New Jersey State Bar.
