Job Overview

A law firm seeks a qualified Corporate/M&A/Private Equity Associate in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in sophisticated mergers and acquisitions or private equity transactions. Candidates with 1-3 years of relevant experience will also be considered for additional roles within the group.

Duties

• Engage in a broad range of corporate, M&A, private equity, securities, and real estate joint ventures.
• Provide legal advice to private equity and venture capital funds, family offices, and various companies and lenders.
• Assume immediate responsibility and engage in client interaction.
• Participate in a partnership track opportunity.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions or private equity transactions.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience may be considered for additional roles.
• Excellent academic credentials and qualifications.
• Strong work ethic and comparable law firm experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of Florida.
