A law firm seeks an Estate Planning Attorney in Foley, AL. This role focuses on client interaction and estate planning without the burden of administrative tasks. The attorney will work in a supportive team environment, meeting clients in Orange Beach and Foley offices to assist with estate planning decisions and document creation.

Duties

• Meet with clients to discuss estate planning strategies in clear, understandable language.
• Draft and review estate planning documents.
• Explain estate plans and related documents to clients.
• Create a comfortable environment for clients to discuss sensitive family matters.
• Stay informed on modern estate planning methods and techniques.
• Learn and adapt to the firm's processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and procedures.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with a current license to practice in Alabama.
• At least three years of experience in estate planning preferred.
• Experience in a bank trust department or similar law firm is advantageous.
• Three years of legal experience in other areas considered.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Innovative and open to change.
• Unwavering integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and professionalism.
• Proficient in computer use and familiar with Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and case management software.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama.
