Duties

• Represent clients in criminal cases at all stages of litigation.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other documents.
• Assist with case strategy, trial preparation, and negotiations.
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
• Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 3+ years of Criminal Defense experience; active with the AL Bar.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and manage a caseload.
• Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the Alabama Bar.
