Attorney with 0-10 years of experience in commercial transactions

Profile

A law firm in Chicago is actively seeking an Attorney with 0-10 years of experience in commercial transactions. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and maintain an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in a variety of commercial transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents.
• Conduct due diligence and legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Advise clients on business and legal risks associated with commercial transactions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to structure and facilitate complex transactions.
• Handle mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions from a legal perspective.
• Assist in resolving legal issues arising during the course of commercial transactions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
• 0-10 years of experience in commercial transactions.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law, business transactions, and commercial regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
