The candidate will communicate empathetically with customers and help them through their claim process in a fast, fair and easy manner. Will review the claim including statement summaries, reexamination of medical documents, scene of the accident, property damages, injury, and any aggravating factors. Set litigation strategy with the defense attorney according to the Litigation Guidelines set forth by the business while maintaining follow-up with all parties. After demand or new information is received, finalize the claim value and coordinate negotiation strategy with defense counsel. Evaluate new discovery documents as they are received and schedule a consultation with a defense attorney. Attend mediation, if required. Depending on the nature of the claim, partner with experts, as needed. Use data and analytics to problem solve and contribute to team goals by sharing ideas and opinions. Flexibility to work independently as part of a virtual team.
