A law firm seeks a highly qualified Labor and Employment Litigation Associate to join its expanding practice in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and will assist in all aspects of litigation and administrative charge work.

Duties

• Assist in class action and single-plaintiff litigation.
• Prepare position statements and evaluate claims.
• Prepare for mediations, discovery, and depositions.
• Draft motions and prepare cases for arbitration and trial.
• Research federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Provide strategic thinking in resolving employment disputes.
• Counsel HR professionals and business executives on compliance.
• Draft employment agreements.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Active bar license in Colorado or ability to waive in.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar license in Colorado.
