Location

• West Palm Beach, FL

Duties

• Represent insurers in complex litigation involving:

  • Professional Liability Insurance

  • General Liability Insurance

  • Directors and Officers (D&O) Insurance

• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and legal memoranda

• Conduct all aspects of discovery, including motion practice and depositions

• Make court appearances as appropriate to experience level

• Provide strategic case oversight and litigation planning

• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure effective legal service

• Participate in client management and contribute to business development

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of insurance coverage and commercial litigation experience

• Demonstrated expertise in litigation tasks such as depositions, discovery, motion practice, and court advocacy

• Understanding of policy interpretation and insurance law nuances

• Experience managing client relationships and caseloads independently is a plus

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to casework

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Must be in good standing with the applicable state bar

Skills

• Strong legal research and analytical writing ability

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Capable of managing multiple priorities under deadlines

• Experience using legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)

• Competency with litigation support and case management tools
