A law firm seeks a Senior Family Law Attorney in Rockville, Maryland. This role involves representing clients in family law matters with a focus on litigation. Duties

• Represent clients in divorce, custody, and related family law matters.
• Manage a personal caseload with support from paralegals and legal assistants.
• Balance advocacy with education to empower clients.
• Maintain accountability to firm standards and client satisfaction metrics.
• Participate in team meetings and firmwide initiatives.
• Collaborate with peers and leadership to foster continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Valid license to practice law in Maryland; DC and/or Virginia preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in family law cases in Maryland and/or DC.
• Proven track record in litigation and negotiation with courtroom experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals and support staff.
• Strong work ethic and growth-oriented mindset.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Proficiency with technology; experience with Clio preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is an advantage.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland.
