A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney in Los Angeles to join its active litigation and trial practice. This role is ideal for an attorney interested in enhancing their expertise in complex environmental, toxic tort, and commercial litigation while collaborating with seasoned partners and senior associates.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of complex civil litigation, including client communications, motions, and court appearances.
• Conduct and defend depositions; draft disposition motions.
• Draft and file motions, including those for summary judgment/adjudication.
• Organize, prioritize, and balance multiple assignments effectively.
• Engage directly with firm clients to achieve their goals.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice with an active bar license in California.
• 3+ years of experience in complex civil litigation required.
• Experience in environmental, toxic-tort, commercial, and/or construction matters preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in good standing within the state of California.
