Duties:

• Handle a caseload of construction litigation matters from inception through resolution

• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Analyze construction contracts, insurance policies, and related documents

• Develop case strategies and provide proactive legal advice to clients

• Engage in settlement negotiations and attend pre-trial conferences

• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to drive case outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience handling construction litigation matters

• Background in insurance defense work considered advantageous

• Strong analytical, organizational, and litigation skills

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and independently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

• Strategic problem-solving and negotiation expertise

• Familiarity with civil procedure and construction-related legal principles

• Technological competence in legal management systems and virtual collaboration tools
