A law firm is currently seeking an Attorney for their Springfield office, specializing in commercial transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal expertise in commercial transactions, including contract negotiation, drafting, and reviewing. The role requires a strong understanding of business law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to facilitate successful transactions for clients.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and business agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on business-related matters.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders in transactional matters.
• Stay updated on changes in business laws and industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license, in good standing.
• 0-10 years of experience in commercial transactions.
• Strong knowledge of business law and commercial legal principles.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
