Location:

• Austin, TX

Duties:

• Handle criminal defense cases from start to finish
• Provide legal counsel and advocacy to clients
• Prepare and review legal documents, including motions and pleadings
• Represent clients in court, including hearings, trials, and negotiations
• Develop and implement defense strategies
• Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case developments
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support cases
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and staff to ensure client satisfaction and optimal case outcomes

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Texas Criminal Law (preferred)
• Licensed to practice law in Texas

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of criminal defense law and litigation strategies
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• High level of attention to detail and case management
• Strong analytical and evaluation skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage a caseload effectively
