Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research, analysis, and drafting

• Prepare pleadings, written discovery, motions, and legal memoranda

• Participate in case strategy and litigation planning

• Depose expert witnesses and parties in complex medical malpractice cases

• Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and medical professionals

• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and litigation teams

• Manage case files from intake through trial and resolution

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation

• Prior experience deposing expert witnesses in complex medical cases

• Demonstrated ability to manage demanding caseloads and litigation deadlines

• Strong interest in birth injury and medical negligence litigation

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas (required)
