Locate Paralegal - Child Support Division

The candidate will serve as a second tier resource for identifying and verifying NCP addresses, employers, and related information, and fully update ISETS with the necessary data. Will review existing cases prior to the setting of court hearing to ensure we have the best possible address for the NCP. Research internal and external resources to determine if we have a valid address in ISETS or to locate the current address of NCP. Ensure that all work is completed in strict compliance with all applicable federal and state regulatory rules, laws and guidelines, including IRS Publication 1075. Assist in the improvement of the locate process by reviewing cases, service of process returns and section notes in file and ISETS to look for patterns or areas of improvement. Keep appropriate records for follow-up and such records should assist in providing an overview of the type research and analysis conducted on each case. Review cases to ensure we have correct information in ISETS (i.e. name, ssn, DOB, etc) and notify supervisor of any issues. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with respect to the information obtained and the dissemination of this information for work purposes only. Review and process transfer files from other sections. Should preferably have Bachelor's degree. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Child support experience is required, including proficiency in ISETS and the Child Support Resources website and portal. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Odyssey, and other public data access websites is preferred; must have adequate typing skills.
