Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Franchise Litigation Associate Attorney will be crucial in handling franchise-related legal matters, providing comprehensive legal counsel, and representing clients in litigation proceedings. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product in franchise litigation cases.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, exceed expectations, and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices to maintain ethical and professional standards.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned by supervising attorneys.

Requirements:

  • J.D. Degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 3 years of franchise litigation experience in a law firm environment.
  • State Bar admission in WA.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in legal software and research tools.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar in Washington.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from an accredited law school.
