A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney to join their team, with the option to telecommute from Washington, U.S. The role involves leading complex corporate transactions and advising clients on sophisticated legal matters.

Duties

• Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings.
• Serve as a primary legal advisor on corporate and securities law matters, including transaction strategy and regulatory compliance.
• Independently manage all aspects of transactional matters from inception through closing.
• Direct and coordinate transaction teams to ensure efficient execution of transactions.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
• Lead responses to inquiries from regulatory authorities, including drafting disclosure documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on corporate and securities law issues.
• Perform other duties commensurate with a senior-level attorney.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and five years of experience as an associate attorney.
• Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the bar of a U.S. state or the District of Columbia.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in a U.S. state or the District of Columbia.
