Duties

• Engage in intellectual property prosecution and litigation, focusing on patent and trademark matters.
• Draft patents and conduct thorough research and brief writing.
• Collaborate with shareholders and participate in business development activities.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in intellectual property prosecution and litigation.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Admitted in Illinois and as a patent attorney before the USPTO, or taking steps to become admitted in Illinois or California.

Education

• JD degree or equivalent with strong academic credentials.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Certifications

• Admitted as a patent attorney before the USPTO.

Skills

• Patent drafting experience.
• Strong research and brief writing skills.
