A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its energy and natural resources strategic business unit. The ideal candidate will collaborate primarily with attorneys in this unit, possessing at least 5 years of experience in wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions. They should demonstrate the ability to lead scopes of work within a team and effectively manage and oversee junior attorneys. Excellent academic credentials, a strong commitment to community service, and exceptional interpersonal skills are highly valued. The candidate must have an active Bar license or be willing to obtain one promptly.

Duties:

• Collaborate primarily with attorneys in the energy and natural resources strategic business unit.
• Handle wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
• Lead scopes of work within a team and manage and oversee junior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice.
• Participate in negotiations and due diligence processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably in renewable energy real estate.
• Experience with wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Active AZ Bar license or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dedication to community engagement and environmental sustainability.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active AZ Bar license or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
