Profile
A law firm is seeking a dynamic California‐licensed attorney to join its Los Angeles office, focusing on collective wage and hour disputes. Ideal candidates will have between one and six years of relevant litigation experience and a passion for advocating on behalf of employee groups. This role offers competitive retirement and health benefits, along with the opportunity to grow within a collaborative legal team. A hybrid approach would be acceptable, and if it is a very strong candidate, then even a fully remote option might be viable.

Draft and file complaints, motions, briefs, and other court filings with precision and persuasive authority
Conduct discovery activities, including written requests, document review, and managing third‐party subpoenas
Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses, experts, and parties
Negotiate favorable resolutions in mediations and settlement conferences
Coordinate with support staff and junior attorneys to streamline case workflows
Monitor legislative and case‐law developments affecting wage and hour class actions
Requirements
Active membership in the California Bar
Between 1–6 years of civil litigation or class action experience, mainly in California Wage and Hour class actions, and California PAGA
Demonstrated skill in legal writing and oral advocacy
Ability to handle multiple matters under tight deadlines
Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail
Commitment to ethical practice and client‐centered representation
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA‐accredited law school or equivalent
Certifications
Good standing with the California State Bar
Skills
Exceptional analytical and research capabilities
Proficient in drafting complex pleadings and legal memoranda
Effective negotiation and dispute‐resolution techniques
Familiarity with e‐discovery platforms and litigation support tools
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
