A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Investment Management Practice Group in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience advising private fund sponsors, investment advisers, and institutional investors on the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds.

Duties

• Advise on private fund formation, structuring, and operation.
• Draft and review fund documentation and related transactions.
• Provide guidance on co-investments, secondary transactions, and separately managed accounts.
• Ensure compliance with the Investment Advisers Act and other regulatory matters.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of investment management, private funds, or related corporate experience.
• Experience with private equity, real estate, hedge funds, or other alternative investment vehicles preferred.
• Strong academic credentials and attention to detail.
• Admission to the applicable state bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
