This role involves defending employers in employment-related litigation, representing clients in administrative proceedings, and providing legal counsel on various labor and employment matters. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, a deep understanding of employment law, and the ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a dynamic legal team.

Location:

• Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, and non-compete cases.
• Represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Handle class and collective actions related to labor and employment disputes.
• Provide legal advice and counsel on labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Develop proactive strategies and policies for employer compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of four years of litigation experience, with an employment law background preferred.
• Strong understanding of employment-related state and federal agency procedures.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.
