Associate Attorney
The candidate will do trial preparation, including strategy discussion, discovery, records review, client interviews and witness preparation. Research, both legal and of people, businesses, and worksites. Drafting of briefs, memos, and client updates. Attendance at depositions, hearings, and/or mediations. Actively licensed and in good standing with a state Bar; multiple bar licenses are a plus. Excellent academic credentials and strong writing, analytical, and communications skills are needed. Should preferably have 2-4 years of experience in defense litigation. Product liability or toxic tort litigation. Should have the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines. Must be a self-starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities and understand the importance of deadlines. Should have the ability to work flexibly and independently within a strong team.
