Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the following: assisting in the set-up operations and upkeep of production lines; training of new Team Members; preparing and maintaining production reports; communicating objectives between management and hourly Team Member s. Other duties include: coordinating Team Member schedules to meet the needs of the department; reporting safety and policy violations for corrective measures; assist and maintain product flow in the event of down time; communicate maintenance needs within the department; provide relief breaks to other Team Member s as needed; comply with all company and USDA guidelines; other duties as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 2 plus years experience. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills - checking email Outlook etc.. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Special Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work well in a face paced environment. Supervisory: Acts as a team leader providing functional supervision for other members of the work unit. Does not directly supervise. Must have fewer than seven 7 attendance points less than 4 points if in a management support position ; must have completed probationary period first 3 months . Cannot have any suspensions less than six 6 months old or written warnings less than three 3 months old. Team members who have not completed probation may apply; however you will only be considered if there are no other eligible applicants. Team Members currently in discretionary positions must have been in their position for a minimum of 6 months unless bidding to a higher rated graded position. This position is slated for persons working at this facility. If there are no eligible applicants from this facility other applicants will be considered provided they live within a 50 mile radius of the facility.
