A law firm seeks a motivated Bankruptcy Attorney to join its national practice in Tampa, FL. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a reputable firm, managing a substantial caseload and guiding support staff.

Duties

• Draft motions for relief from the automatic stay.
• Prepare and defend secured creditor proofs of claims.
• Defend motions to value.
• Draft pleadings to protect creditor interests during bankruptcy.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates to the firm's systems of record.
• Collaborate with attorneys, support staff, and firm members.

Requirements

• Bar License in the state of AZ (required); multiple licenses a plus.
• More than eight years of experience in civil litigation, real estate, or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately and productively.
• Preferred knowledge of TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA.
• Experience in appellate practice preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar License in the state of AZ.
