Job Overview:

The Cybercrime Enforcement Attorney - Of Counsel will be responsible for supporting cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement work within the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably IP litigation, and internal, government, IP enforcement investigations.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement matters.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients regarding cybercrime and IP enforcement issues.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm on complex cases.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to cybercrime and IP enforcement.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in Alaska or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, focusing on cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement.
• Proven track record of success in civil litigation, particularly in IP litigation.
• Experience conducting internal and government investigations related to IP enforcement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
