Job Overview: A law firm in Tampa, FL, seeks an Immigration Attorney who enjoys working in various family and business immigration cases. The ideal candidate will embrace handling a high-volume caseload and be committed to prompt client communication and timely and accurate document production.

Duties:

• Represent clients in immigration proceedings, including but not limited to family-based petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers, asylum, and removal defense
• Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions, motions, and briefs with various government agencies
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda on immigration issues
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding immigration matters
• Attend immigration interviews, hearings, and court proceedings as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and client records

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar Association
• 1 year of verifiable immigration law experience (2+ years preferred)
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) - preferred
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and satisfaction

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar Association

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
