Duties

• Manage diverse litigation cases from intake through resolution.
• Own deadlines, strategy, and case progression.
• Analyze title work and factual records to inform litigation strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions and trials.
• Appear in court as needed.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with clients.
• Prepare correspondence with courts, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Assist with real estate transactions as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.

Requirements

• Active Kansas and Missouri bar licenses required.
• Ideally at least 5 years of private practice experience.
• Trial experience.
• No book of business required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Kansas and Missouri.
