A law firm is currently seeking an Attorney for their Springfield office, specializing in estate planning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive estate planning services, including the drafting of wills, trusts, and other estate documents. The role requires a strong understanding of estate planning laws, and tax implications, and the ability to provide tailored legal advice to clients.

Duties:

• Assist clients in developing personalized estate plans, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and tax regulations.
• Draft and review estate planning documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Provide legal advice to clients on matters related to probate, asset protection, and wealth preservation.
• Collaborate with clients and financial professionals to create comprehensive estate plans.
• Represent clients in probate proceedings and other estate-related matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license, in good standing.
• 0-10 years of experience in estate planning.
• Strong knowledge of estate planning laws and tax implications.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
