The candidate will review and analyse all subpoenas and served documents, ensure proper service of process, collect responsive information from cross-functional stakeholders and support teams, and independently prepare substantive responses for final legal review prior to production. Independently manage special projects, coordinate relevant stakeholders, and track, maintain, and update charts and databases relating to such projects. Calendar and monitor deadlines and track all ongoing legal matters. Act as an administrator for the Legal Department’s matter management and contract management systems. Maintain all case pleadings and organize and archive all correspondence, discovery, and documents related to completed and ongoing legal matters, including an internal shadow file for external legal matters. Prepare affidavits, legal correspondence, and other documents for in-house counsel. Conduct legal and factual research and present findings and conclusions with supporting analysis. Multi-task effectively, take initiative, exercise independent thought, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines. Professionally communicate with cross-functional stakeholders and support teams efficiently and effectively.
