A law firm in Charleston, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess superior writing and analytical capabilities, with a preference for a federal clerkship background and experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing. The position entails meaningful involvement in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale.

Duties:

• Participate in complex commercial litigation cases on a national scale.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist with discovery, including Electronic Discovery processes.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy development.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage case files and documentation efficiently.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and precedents.

Requirements:

• Federal clerkship background strongly preferred.
• Distinguished academic record.
• Superior writing and analytical capabilities.
• Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing highly desirable.
• Valid law license required.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Valid law license in good standing.
