Duties:

• Deliver high-level legal representation in a variety of family law matters, including custody, support, and divorce proceedings

• Prepare and review legal documentation such as pleadings, motions, and agreements

• Conduct detailed legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

• Appear on behalf of clients in negotiations, mediation sessions, and courtroom hearings

• Maintain regular communication with clients to align legal strategy with their objectives

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior legal staff and assist in training initiatives

• Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure consistency in legal strategy and client service

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of focused experience in family law practice

• Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar

• Demonstrated experience managing high-conflict or complex family law cases

• Strong case management skills and the ability to handle multiple active matters concurrently

• Capacity to function efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced legal setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in South Carolina (mandatory)

Skills:

• Exceptional written advocacy and drafting abilities

• Keen legal analysis and issue-spotting skills

• Effective interpersonal communication and client engagement style

• Strong research competency leveraging digital legal research platforms

Job Location:

• Fort Mill, SC

• In-person position (Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts)
