Job Details:

• Provide competent legal advice to a book of family law clients in hearings, settlement negotiations, and mediation.
• Conduct meetings with clients, draft legal documents and pleadings, perform research, and manage discovery processes.
• Maintain a valid license and good standing with the South Carolina State Bar (Licensed in North Carolina is a plus).
• Possess 4+ years of experience working in a family law firm.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of Local Rules and their application to family law cases.
• Work independently on cases while effectively managing and expanding a client base.
• Exhibit exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, especially in high-stress and emotional situations.
• Maintain professionalism while showing empathy to all clients.
• Display creativity and the ability to think outside the box to find innovative legal solutions.
• Be highly organized, energetic, and self-motivated.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills with the ability to identify effective solutions.
• Act as active members of their community.

Job Location: Belmont, NC

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar (Licensed in North Carolina is a plus).
• 4+ years of experience working in a family law firm.

Certifications:

• Valid license with the South Carolina State Bar (Licensed in North Carolina is a plus).

Skills:
