Location:

• Orlando, Florida

Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of commercial and business litigation matters from intake through resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, legal memoranda, and correspondence

• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies

• Attend and handle court hearings, depositions, and mediations

• Maintain organized and accurate case files

• Work closely with paralegals, support staff, and fellow attorneys to meet case deadlines and goals

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts with professionalism and clarity

• Assist in family law matters as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in general and commercial litigation

• Demonstrated litigation and courtroom experience

• Family law experience is a plus

• Deep understanding of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and relevant statutes

• Strong ethical standards and professional accountability

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school (required)

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Florida (required)

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills

• Strong research proficiency, including statutory interpretation

• Confident negotiation and mediation abilities

• Detail-oriented with effective time and case management

• High-level communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in legal practice software and tools
