Duties

• Evaluate and advise clients on workers' compensation claims.
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Communicate with client and claims representatives.
• Create and submit client-required reports.
• Prepare motions and briefs to support client positions.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.
• One or more years of workers' compensation defense experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making abilities.

Education

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• North Carolina State Bar admission.
