A law firm in Metairie is seeking an Associate Attorney. The attorney will be responsible for assisting with various legal matters, including litigation, client consultations, legal research, and drafting legal documents.

Duties:

• Assist with litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on case law and statutes.
• Attend client meetings and court hearings.
• Assist with case preparation and strategy.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Handle administrative tasks related to case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar admission in the state of Louisiana.
• 0-5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Certifications:
