A well-established law firm with a broad multi-state practice is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This position is designed for an attorney with experience in real estate, creditors' rights, and litigation. Duties:

• Manage and oversee a substantial volume of cases in the areas of real estate, creditors' rights, and related litigation.
• Engage in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution, ensuring efficient and effective legal proceedings.
• Represent clients in court, including appearances before state and federal courts as required.
• Provide comprehensive legal counsel and support to clients, with a focus on providing proactive and sound judgment.
• Assist with appellate matters and contribute to the firm’s growing presence in the legal community.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and assist in mentorship, fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues, acting as a trusted advisor in the field.
• Travel as needed to support casework and client needs.

Requirements:

• Active membership in good standing with the Missouri State Bar, or ability to obtain licensure in the federal district and bankruptcy courts.
• 5+ years of litigation experience preferred; newly licensed attorneys will also be considered.
• Expertise in creditors' rights and the legal nuances of real estate law is highly desired.
• Experience with TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve client and firm objectives.
• Dedication to professional growth and supporting the firm’s mission to deliver high-quality client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Missouri State Bar.
• Additional Bar memberships are advantageous.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts.
