This position offers the opportunity to engage in a dynamic practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions. The associate will collaborate with a team renowned for its extensive corporate experience and regulatory knowledge, representing clients in the insurance and financial services sectors.

Duties

• Perform and coordinate due diligence for M&A transactions.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Coordinate closings and post-closing matters.
• Engage in joint ventures and commercial contracts.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in M&A transactions.
• Solid knowledge of general corporate law, including entity formation and governance.
• Experience in other corporate or transactional matters.
• Admitted to practice in Georgia or eligible to waive admission.

Education

• J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the Georgia Bar or willing to sit for the exam.
