Trademark Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Reno is seeking a skilled Trademark Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and both domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is a plus. Exceptional writing and communication skills are essential, and proficiency in foreign languages is highly valued.

Duties:

• Conduct trademark searches and provide clearance opinions
• Develop and implement global trademark strategies
• Handle domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement matters
• Assist with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings
• Draft legal documents, including cease and desist letters, oppositions, and trademark applications
• Conduct legal research on trademark issues
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Bar in the state of Colorado or eligibility for admission by motion
• 2-5 years of experience in trademark law
• Strong understanding of trademark principles and procedures
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Superior writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience with trademark software and databases is preferred
