Duties:

• Advocate on behalf of clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation, support, and property disputes

• Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documentation

• Conduct hearings and trials independently

• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing guidance and legal advice throughout the case lifecycle

• Coordinate with support staff to manage discovery, filings, and calendaring efficiently

• Keep abreast of changes and developments in family law statutes and case law

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law and in good standing with the state bar

• 2 to 7 years of litigation experience, specifically in family law

• Demonstrated ability to handle contested hearings and manage multiple active caseloads

• Familiarity with courtroom procedures and strong advocacy skills

• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain client confidentiality and trust

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar (Tennessee)
