Graduate Fellowship Program
The Fellowship Program places new associates from law firms at public interest law agencies in Illinois, where they are typically paid by their hiring firm to work for 300 hours between graduation and joining the firm. The Fellow will work on a wide and diverse range of issues depending on the agency where they serve. Will also work on transactional matters such as policy development and analysis, advocacy, impact litigation and more. Will work with the Loyola Community Law Center Clinic. Will represent clients in disability claims, family law litigation, elder law, and in defense of eviction and consumer debt suits. Fellows may be involved in law reform projects, including litigations, amicus briefs, and less formal policy advocacy. They will receive close supervision and ongoing evaluation of their work.
