A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to handle family law and/or civil litigation matters in Champaign, IL. This primarily remote position requires in-person court appearances approximately 2-3 times per week. The firm welcomes both experienced attorneys and those seeking mentorship and hands-on experience.

Duties

• Handle a caseload in family law and/or civil litigation.
• Attend court locally approximately 2-3 times per week.
• Manage cases with administrative and legal support.
• Grow into increased independence over time.

Requirements

• Experienced Attorneys (3+ years): Background in family law and/or civil litigation.
• Junior Attorneys (0-3 years): Licensed or awaiting bar results.
• Interest in litigation and courtroom experience.
• Willingness to learn and grow with mentorship.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law or awaiting bar results.

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
