This role is ideal for a litigator with 1–3 years of experience who is eager to transition into or expand within the field of trust and estate litigation. Location

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda related to trust and estate litigation

• Prepare pleadings, discovery documents, motions, and other legal filings

• Assist in all phases of trust and estate litigation, from case inception through trial

• Make court appearances in probate courts

• Handle aspects of probate administrations from filing to discharge of the personal representative

• Work on conservatorship and guardianship matters from initiation through ongoing representation

• Take on projects assigned by senior attorneys or partners

Requirements

• 1–3 years of litigation experience in any legal field (experience in probate, trust, or estate law preferred)

• Demonstrated interest in probate and estate law

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a legal team

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic performance; law review membership highly preferred

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar (required)
