A law firm in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Advertising, Marketing, And Promotions Partner.

Job Overview:

The Advertising, Marketing, And Promotions Partner will provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters in both traditional and new media platforms. They will protect clients' business interests and brand elements throughout the lifecycle of campaigns, counsel clients to avoid and respond to challenges, lead litigation, and actively participate in business development initiatives to expand the firm's advertising, marketing, and promotions practice.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters in traditional and new media
• Protect clients’ business interests and brand elements in all aspects of a campaign’s lifecycle
• Counsel clients to avoid and respond to challenges from government agencies, competitors, and consumers
• Lead litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
• Actively participate in business development initiatives

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials
• 10 years of specialized experience in advertising law
• Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Ability to lead and mentor junior attorneys
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with tact and discretion
• Ability to identify and analyze issues, make decisions, and initiate actions/solutions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
• Agility to respond to unexpected challenges while maintaining composure and good judgment

Education and Certifications:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
