Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join as an Advertising, Marketing, And Promotions Partner. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters, protecting clients’ business interests and brand elements. This role requires leading litigation, cultivating client relationships, and contributing to business development initiatives.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters in traditional and new media.
• Protect clients’ business interests and brand elements throughout a campaign’s life cycle.
• Counsel clients to avoid and respond to challenges from government agencies, competitors, and consumers.
• Lead litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims in court and before NAD.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, participating in business development initiatives.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• 10 years of specialized experience in advertising law.
• Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to identify and analyze issues, make decisions, and initiate actions/solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
• Agility to respond to unexpected challenges with innovation and professionalism.

Education/Certifications:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school.
