Northwest Center is hiring for a Banana Stand Supervisor to join the team!This unique Supervisor role assumes responsibility of the Amazon Community Banana Stands and assists in overseeing daily operations of the banana program in the Puget Sound region and any special events requiring their support. Banana Stands are located throughout the Amazon Campus in South Lake Union, you will be responsible for supporting staff in several locations, making sure staff are onsite and prepared for operations at scheduled start times.The Supervisor will also be crossed trained in supporting and backing up the Events Supervisor as needed. Following up with corrective employee conversations as necessary related to employee performance, including additional leadership as necessary.Assist management in interviewing, hiring, and termination discussions.Contributes to a positive work environment that encourages retention and talent.Work collaboratively across the organization with different job levels and departments.Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among team members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict, and expeditious conflict resolution.Customer ExperienceAct as liaison between Northwest Center, Amazon, and other Vendors ensure continuity across campus locations.Provide elevated customer support for visitors, community members, vendor partners, and all guests visiting the banana trailers, stands, or bikes.Handle escalated situations with visitors, community members, vendor partners, and all guests.Maintain cleanliness and overall visual presence of the trailers/stands/bikes, ensuring it is cleaned, organized, and stocked as necessary.Attend regular team meetings to discuss updates, concerns, and ideas with leadership.Needed Experience and RequirementsEducationAssociates degree equivalent combination of education and experience required, Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience Minimum 2 years of increasing responsibility in position, and oversight of projects or other team members with proven experience in a fast-paced environment. Minimum of 1 years in program-specific or relatable work environment.
