Part-time Student Trainee (Mathematics and Statistics), GS 03-05
Duties: The student will serve in a trainee capacity, performing routine and recurring development assignments to acquire knowledge and understanding of functions, principles, practices, and methods used in the area of Statistician. Prepare reports of findings, tables, and graphs for use in technical reports and presentations. Develop, test, and document code using web based Git repositories for statistical analyses and predictions of water resources data. Gather basic hydrologic data (quantity, quality, availability, movement and distribution of water). Import, parse, manage, analyze, and visualize large environmental data sets. Prepare process documentation and refine data management procedures and workflows. Perform geospatial analyses and prepare map products.
