A law firm seeks a Trust and Estates Attorney with 5 or more years of estate planning experience to join its team in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to design and implement comprehensive estate plans, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and their complex estate tax planning needs.

Duties

• Draft and review estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, deeds, and powers of attorney.
• Assist with probate and trust administration matters.
• Prepare Form 706 estate tax returns.
• Engage in international estate planning, if applicable.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

• 5+ years of estate planning experience.
• Experience with high-net-worth clients.
• Fluency in a foreign language, such as Spanish or Vietnamese, is a plus.
• California or Arizona license required, depending on location.
• Tax background (e.g., tax LL.M, CPA) preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California or Arizona.
